SUMMARY
The Sharps Bottle Cap screws onto most plastic drinking bottles for an inexpensive way to safely store hypodermic medical needles.
The initial idea from Jur Boomaars at the Hogeschool Rotterdam and further developed in Nepal with Field Ready.
Please note that when handling sharps please exercise extreme caution, this product is designed to hold sharps and reduce risk where other safer alternatives are not available.

Test used three different 180 ml plastic drinks bottle.
Used sewing needs to test the needle drop. Checked for secure seal on various bottles.

The design is intuitive and easy to use, and prided security for sharp items deposited.
Reusing the soda bottle cap to secure the top of the sharps bottle was easy, secure and works with different types of soda bottles.

Good print, no stringing or warping. No need to change the file's print orientation. No clean up or surface work necessary before use.

Assembly instructions
No assembly required.
To use screw the printed part over an empty 180ml soda bottle.
When finished, screw the soda bottle cap over the print to secure.
